Hello!
I'm Kaitlin, and I am a Junior at Syracuse University studying Broadcast and Digital Journalism. I found my love for journalism in highschool, and had the privilege to continue it in college. My passion for storytelling comes from sharing authentic stories and being in the pursuit of the truth.

At Syracuse University, I am heavily involved with CitrusTV, the student-run news station. I have served as an Executive Board Member, Multimedia Journalist, and Evening News Anchor, gaining invaluable experience across the newsroom. Each role has allowed me to refine my skills and further my passion for journalism. The best part, though, is that I get to do it all alongside my best friends!
I’ve been lucky enough to intern in both the U.S. and the U.K., which gave me hands-on experience in different media environments. These opportunities have given me a broader perspective on journalism and helped me develop a well-rounded approach in the newsroom. Experiencing different storytelling techniques, newsroom workflows, and audience engagement strategies has made me more adaptable and better prepared to contribute in dynamic journalism settings.
In my free time, I love staying active by going for runs and exploring new spots. I love getting outside when I am not in the classroom. I also have a passion for cooking and enjoy experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. Sharing this passion with my friends is the best part, as they're always eager to try the latest creations!
